Watching this robot move was a genuine Holy Shit moment for me. Its movement is so organic it's almost scary...makes me worry there's a pink glistening brain carefully wired into the core of its mechanical carapace.

The "Wilhelm Scream" is a kind of in-joke with sound editors and film buffs. It's a scream that gets used again and again whenever a film needs a totally over-the top yell. I hadn't come across it before until Abi sent me a link to a compilation of clips featuring it.
