I agree.
There's no harm in 'verbing' every so often, but there are already adequate verbs abound to do with effecting solutions.

Gotta disagree with you on point two. Solutioni[s/z]e is a word. It's the term for choosing a solution when you're supposed to be stating the problem.
It's an ugly, evil word. But it's an ugly, evil practice too, one which has caused as much human misery as Microsoft Project and Visio combined.

Abi, now that you've pointed out that use of solutionize, I can see that there is a place for it. Provided that you use it in just that sense, and with a hint of irony to show that you're aware you're using a dodgy neologism to illustrate a dodgy practice.
Unfortunately, that's not the context I've been hearing it in.
